Kishore Khandavalli and 24 Dallas Area Leaders Honored as Top Achievers in North Texas
DALLAS, TX — 7T, headquartered in Dallas, Texas and with a regional office in Austin, is proud to announce that company Founder and CEO Kishore Khandavalli, has been honored in the Dallas Business Journal’s Tenth Annual Minority Business Leader Awards.
On February 23, 2017 the Dallas Business Journal held an event to celebrate the best and brightest of Dallas’ diverse and impressive area leaders. The 2017 class of honorees attended an award luncheon at the Dallas Sheraton Hotel where a total of 25 business executives were recognized as individuals that have shown strong community involvement and a history of professional excellence.
The honorees were selected by a panel of judges consisting of previous award recipients and other North Texas leaders that gave serious consideration to over 200 strong nominees. Ultimately, Mr. Khandavalli’s history as an active mentor in Dallas based Health Wildcatters, the United States Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC) and a professional background that includes founding Burlington, Vermont based iTech US, a five-time Inc. 50000 Honoree, were factors that made him a strong selection.
As a two time Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of Year finalist and having won numerous other business awards, this honor is one that stands out to Mr. Khandavalli who immigrated to the United States from India to attend graduate school in Ohio.
Lacey Williams-McGhee, Director of Marketing, explained:
“Working with Kishore [Khandavalli] is an honor. After moving to the United States from literally the other side of the world, he has achieved what I perceive as the idea of the ‘American Dream’ which is inclusive of those unalienable rights such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. His professional excellence, high moral character, care for his employees and love for his family are things that make him a charismatic and magnetic leader.”
Along with the other honorees that were recognized by the Dallas Business Journal, Khandavalli was profiled in the Dallas Business Journal digital and print publications released on February 2, 2017. To view the interview, please click here.
